ADMINISTRATION The City Administrator manages the day-to-day operation of the City, including the leadership and supervision of City employees, maintaining relationships with other organizations and jurisdictions, preparing and administering the City budget, and directing the response to customer and citizen needs. The Interim City Administrator is Diane Supler. She has been with the City of Sumner since 2006, first serving as the Deputy City Administrator. Before Sumner, Diane served as director of the office of management and budget at the City of Tacoma, finance director for the City of Auburn, and audit manager of the State Auditor’s Office.
