CEMETERY

Sumner is a city that knows you by name and welcomes you as part of the community.  The same holds true for those who have passed away at our City Cemetery.  The pioneer cemetery began in 1864 and the "town" section in 1902, and we are accepting individuals who would like to reserve their place in this special community.

If you are planning for your own final resting place or making arrangements for a loved one, the traditions of Sumner may be a good fit for you.  While offering a wide range of modern and traditional options for burial or cremains, the cemetery continues many beloved traditions including the option to place wreaths during the holidays and the Sumner VFW's Memorial Day celebration and placing of flags.

Take a look at the options available, or better yet, make an appointment to visit us in person to see if the Sumner City Cemetery is the right place for you or your loved ones.
