ELECTED OFFICIALS
Similar to the Federal
Government structure, Sumner has three branches of
government.

The judicial branch, the
Municipal Court, is led by an appointed judge.

The legislative branch is
the
City Council and is responsible for setting policy.

The executive branch is led
by the
Mayor, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer and
carries out the implementation of policy. The
Mayor hires a full-time City Administrator to manage the
day-to-day operations of the City.
