SUMNER POLICE DEPARTMENT COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We realize that we are part of
this community, both when we're carrying out official duties
and when we're participating in those efforts that make
Sumner a great place to be. August 28, 2010 NW Ride of Dreams: indicate you'd like your registration to support Sumner Police Department's fundraising for Special Olympics.
April 30, 2010 Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Sumner Police, including Deputy Chief Brad Moericke and Chief John Galle, are joining others in raising money and awareness for the Sexual Assault Center of Pierce County, which offers support toward healing through advocacy and therapy for those affected by sexual assault and abuse.
Chief Galle will be joining Heels of Justice team in the walk in Tacoma on April 30. You're welcome to join in walking, support any of the teams, or just review the materials and understand more about sexual assault and what we as a community can do to help victims.
