services door-to-door within the City of Sumner needs to
have a peddler's permit for that person and that day.

You may ask an unwanted
salesperson to see their peddler's permit.

Do not let any salesperson
scare you into making an immediate decision.
Always ask for time to consider and references.

It's a good idea to check
prices and get two to three bids to compare.

If a salesperson can't
provide a valid Sumner peddler's permit or won't leave
when asked, call police at 253-863-6384. If you
feel your safety is threatened, call 911.
