PUBLIC WORKS TRAFFIC & MAIN ROAD WORK
Doing Business in the Area All businesses will be open and accessible although access may be different than what is familiar. In fact, we would sure appreciate it if you would continue to support all businesses in the area so that the road work, while necessary, doesn't impact our business owners and employees.
Getting to Main Street To visit Sumner's historic downtown, you can still use the intersection with likely delays, or you can take an alternate route. From Traffic Avenue, turn onto Maple Street. Go over the railroad tracks and turn left on Kincaid. In one block, you'll be back on Main Street!
Getting to the Industrial Area If your business is located in the industrial area north of town, you and your delivery trucks will want to use the 24th Street interchange instead. This will help you avoid delays in the long run and also help businesses directly in the area by reserving the reduced lane space to their vehicles.
