Open Monday - Friday, 10 am -
4 pm Welcome to the Sumner Senior Center. We provide services and activities for persons ages "55" and over. The Senior Center services are available to eligible seniors regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, physical, mental or sensory disability.
We provide a relaxing and warm atmosphere for the seniors of Sumner. There is no membership fee. You can sit back and enjoy live music or try something new.
Please don’t be shy! Bring us your questions and concerns. The coffee is always on. Stop by and pay us a visit.

We have the following new activities/classes starting in June. Art Harris is offering a 10-session Grief Recovery Support Group and Baker/Decorator, Shirley Ryan is offering a cake decorating class. Library Staff member will be offering a computer class on the 1st and last Friday of the month. Come and join others in knitting and crocheting-Touch of Home. We will be offering AARP class on June 28th for those who need it.
**Don’t miss our Father’s Day party on 6/14. We will be having lunch, live entertainment by the Mid-Day Melody Men and Root Beer floats!

Line Dancing Join in the fun! Learn how to Line Dance. Some "old" and "new" dances will be taught. This is a great way to exercise! Days: Mon. & Wed. Yoga Balance Wake your body and mind with Yoga! Studies show it reduce stress and tension. Day: Wednesdays Time: 9AM Cost: $5.00 per Class

Pinochle Club This is a great way to spend your afternoon. Bring a friend with you or just bring yourself and meet new friends. Pinochle Tournament is the second Tues. of the Month. Day: Tuesdays Time: 12:45-4PM
"Hand ’n Foot" Hand 'n Foot is the exciting game played with strategy and wit. Come join the fun! Day: 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesday Time: 10:30-2:30 Cost: $1.00 per game. *Two games are played.
Bridge Don’t be bashful! Come and join us for Bridge every Wed. afternoon. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon and meet new people. Lots of fun! Days: Wednesday Time: 12:30-4PM
Woodcarving Come use your imagination and create beautiful pieces. This is a fun class. Bring you own tools and have fun! Day: Fridays Time: 1-3PM
Painter’s Club Interested in painting? Want to learn more about the amazing art? Come enjoy the afternoon in our painting class. Day: Tuesdays Time: 12-3PM Cost: $4
Dominoes Spend a fun filled after-noon playing Mexican Train Dominoes. New Comer are always welcome. Day: Mondays Time: 2 PM

Medical Loaner Closet We have some assistive equipment on hand to loan: wheelchair, walkers, canes, transfer board, portable commodes. There is no cost to borrow any of our medical equipment, just let the front desk know so we can check it out to you.
