Why no bikes in the Sk8 Park? Bike riding is also a great skill and sport, but the Sk8 Park simply wasn’t designed or built to handle bikes. Sumner Sk8 is a 9,000 square foot concrete skate facility located in the Daffodil Valley Sports Complex. It has two primary skating areas: a bowl and a modified street skate. The bowl has a maximum depth of 10-feet and is intended for advanced skaters. The surrounding pool copping provides for an authentic pool skate. The street skate portion has several hot boxes but has rounded sides with a three to 5-foot drop, helping provide for continuous skating. Thanks to the donors who made Sk8 possible:
