Information Collection and Use 

The City of Sumner is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information unless required to do so by law. The Washington State Public Records Act obligates the City of Sumner to assure the public's right to review documents maintained by the City. Certain subjects, however, may fall under exemptions of the state Public Records Act. Please note that this also pertains to any e-mails sent to or from a City e-mail address.

The City of Sumner may collect information from our users at several different points on our website. Only information voluntarily given by a user will be collected. If a user chooses not to provide such information, the user will still be able to fully utilize the web site.

Cookies 

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address.
